However I will say that I do find many - most actually - 3-Fly and Coins Across routines to be somewhat boring because of the repetition involved in them. (Hey - it's not a short book!) I like the technique in Stargate very much I have never found anything boring about your magic. I received your book but haven't completed it yet. That is the best way I can pose this question. Should the spectators be presented with mind bending repetitive magic or mind bending flash and sparkle? The question is about these opposing points of view. In Stargate, a half dollar travels from one hand to the other three times.Įach time is exactly the same as all others. Others claim my routine is boring and have suggested changes to spice it up. I had to look that work up in the dictionary. When I performed at Macmillian's convention some years agoĮlizabeth Warlock pronounced it sonomic in her column in the Over the years my work has been considered boring. There is a 50 year history to this question. It is about this trick that I pose this question. I believe it is the best coins across routine possible. There is a new trick in the book called Stargate. I wonder why there is no comment about specific material. The comments are about the book as an entity. Some are critical and some are very positive. Schneider gave magic lessons to a magician duo who tricked Penn and Teller on Penn & Teller: Fool Us with a magic routine called "A Mother's Love".I wish to pose a question to this community.Ī few people have made comments on the new book, Al Schneider Magic.
